We encourage all our pupils to wear school uniform and we very much appreciate the parental support in this area. Uniform gives pupils a sense of pride and belonging, as well as looking smart in their personal appearance.

Safeguarding and Child Protection
In Fairview Primary School, all staff are conscious of their responsibilities following the four C's

All school staff have a legal 'Duty of Care' to listen to / report any Concerns that they may have and to Communicate these to the appropriate personnel, keeping the details Confidential.

Wrap Around Care
Breakfast Club
For working parents, we offer early morning care and a bit of breakfast for all our pupils. Pupils can arrive from 7.50am each morning and will move on to their classrooms at 8.45am. Breakfast includes toast, cereal, a drink and fresh fruit. The cost is £3 for those that arrive before 8.15am, £2.50 after 8.15am and is paid for using our School Money app.
We also an extended after schools club from 3pm-5pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm-4pm on a Friday. The cost for this is £5 per hour and pupils can be booked in using our School Money app.

After school Activities in Fairview

In addition to the wide variety of after-school clubs offered by our school staff, we also offer a range of clubs hosted by external providers. To download a list of the external clubs currently on offer, please CLICK HERE.
As well as our wide range of after school activities, we work with local childcare providers to offer wraparound care.
After Schools Club
The After Schools Club bus drops off pupils to school in the morning and also collects them after school each day to provide ‘fun, friendship…and a little homework’. Collection can be at the end of each school day or after pupils attend a club in the afternoon. Part time and full time flexible places available.

Jigsaw
Jigsaw has two sites, one in Ballyrobert and the other beside Fairview Primary School on the Rashee Road. Collection can be at the end of each school day or after pupils attend a club in the afternoon.

Primrose Hill
Primrose Hill Day Nursery is located within green fields on the Lisglass Road, near Ballyclare. Collection can be at the end of each school day or after pupils attend a club in the afternoon. Breakfast and Afterschool care provided, outdoor focussed, just off the A8 Ballyclare.
