Headlice in School

There have already been a number of classes which have experienced head lice. The School Nurse will no longer be supplying schools with a leaflet on how to treat head lice. Instead, we have a link to the NHS website below as well as a document which can be downloaded giving advice and information to parents.

In school, we continue to ask that long hair be tied up. Please remember that we rely on parents informing us when there is a case of head lice. It is also important that hair which does not have lice is not treated unnecessarily. Through the Minor Ailments Scheme you can seek free advice and treatment from the Pharmacies in town.
