Bee Safe

Last week the Primary 7 pupils attended the annual Bee Safe event at Mossley Mill. This is an important part of our P7 transition programme as during the session the pupils hear from a range of professionals, advising them on situations they may encounter and the choices they should be making as they move to Post Primary School.

The programme, which is organised by the Policing and Community Safety Partnership, provided talks from a range of bodies such as the PSNI, Translink and Environmental Health at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. There were also sessions around alcohol and substance abuse and the importance of good relations with other children. The day was very beneficial and we hope the P7s will take away some important messages as they move to their next school.
