Remembrance Day

By now all our pupils and most of our parents have seen the wonderful Poppy Display at the front of the school. We were especially delighted to welcome the Mayor on Wednesday who was very impressed with the display created to commemorate the 100 years since the end of the First World War. Thanks to all those boys and girls who brought in their bottle tops and bottoms just before half term. We really appreciate your efforts! We had enough bottle parts to represent each family in our school community. Thanks to Mr Kennedy who had the idea and pulled it all together with a lot of help over the half term holiday from Mr and Mrs McAllister and Mrs Parr. On Sunday morning two P7 pupils will represent the school and lay a wreath on behalf of everyone at Fairview at the War Memorial in Ballyclare. We hope to see many of you there on this special commemorative Sunday.
