Our third match was against Woodlawn PS, when Katie Bonar scored two goals, the second of which was set up by Abigail Barr, and Katie Graham scored another goal. Goalkeeper Zara Robson made some fantastic saves, which aided our 3-0 win. In our next match against Ballyclare B, Grace McWilliams set up some brilliant opportunities in midfield. Abigail Barr scored two goals and Katie Graham scored one, taking us into the Quarter Final where we were played Whiteabbey PS. Katie Bonar scored the first two goals in the Quarter Final, followed by two goals from Whiteabbey. It was 2-2 when the whistle blew which led us into extra time. During a tense five minutes, Jodie Cowden made some excellent tackles in defence and Abigail Barr managed to score, which gave us our 3-2 victory. We were into the semi-finals where we played Ballynure PS once again. Katie Bonar scored her eighth goal of the tournament which was followed by a goal from Chloe Montgomery, after taking the ball all the way from the defensive third. We won 2-0 and were into the finals. In the finals we came up against Ballyclare A. Despite tiredness creeping in, we had a few opportunities to score, just missing the post. Everyone worked hard until the end, which was a 4-0 win for Ballyclare A, making us runners up. Congratulations to the girls who showed excellent skill and determination throughout the whole day, you should be very proud of yourselves! Katie Graham was given a special mention by the umpires for her performances throughout the tournament. We have now qualified for the NI Finals on 18th April.
