Children In Need Day

Last Friday was a great day for all our boys and girls! All the pupils made a tremendous effort for ‘Spotacular’ day and we are delighted to tell you that we have raised an amazing £840.61! In addition to this amount £200 of ‘Round Pounds’ were brought into school. Well done pupils and staff! This is an amount to be proud of and we know that every penny goes directly to charities in Northern Ireland, helping many deserving boys and girls.

As you will all know, the Senior Choir (P6&7 pupils) formed part of the Children In Need choir on Friday evening. The pupils were an absolute credit to the school and to you, their parents. Not only was their singing super, they were also exceptionally well behaved! Well done boys and girls - we hope you enjoyed the experience! Rebecca Ennis and Abigail Pye commented,

‘We thought Jonathan was an extremely good conductor. We really enjoyed singing and meeting with other schools. We also made some new friends.’

If you missed the programme on either the Friday night or Sunday afternoon, you can see the choir’s performance by visiting our Twitter page. We currently have 733 followers. Why not join and you can enjoy many of the various activities our pupils participate in.
